Chief Recognized for Service

During Friday night's opening ceremony of our Annual Softball tournament, members took the opportunity honor those we lost during the past year, while presenting Chief Chris VanLuvender with a plaque for his years of service. A moment of silence was held to honor FF/Paramedic Frank Wozniak, Fire Police Captain Marty Mackin and life member Alfred Moore. Chief VanLuvender then received honors for his more than 50 years of service. Chris has been an active member for 51 years, while serving as department Chief for more than 40 years. Chief VanLuvender is pictured above along with his family after the award ceremony.
